FS K24 from a 200 20v

Post by DrewC »

Just replaced my turbo, no longer need this one. High mileage but very little shaft play. Still would recommend a rebuild for obvious reasons.

Would like $85 shipped/paypalled

Drew..

I may be interested. Any oil consumption from this turbo? Abnormal noises?

Hey, no abnormal noises. I was running a chipped ECU boosting upwards of 24psi.

I thought I was consuming a fair amount of oil for a few months, but changed the weight to 10w40 and only needed to fill up a quart after a 2,000 mile road trip (IMMEDIATELY before swapping the turbo) (Denver->SanFran->Vegas).

I never noticed any appreciable soot on the rear bumper, and it was still going strong when I pulled it. 272k to the best of my knowledge (previous owner claimed he never replaced it).

As I mentioned before, a rebuild would be wise, but it was doing just fine for me when I pulled it in favor of Hank's Billet k26
