That about sums it up![]()
I too am a bit biased though! I need to do a full suspension refresh. My 200 is feeling super vague and boat-ish even with the coilovers but I also have not replaced/upgraded any mounts/bushings for the suspension so...yea.

themagellan wrote:I lost an alternator belt on the drive home, but even with the top bolt loose and the star bolt loose and out it will not move even with a massive BFH I looked at the bentley and it appears to say the same- Am I just totally missing something here? I really, really was swinging on it and even used a lot of leverage. The tension bars are also loose.

20VAvant wrote:I had the same issue with the v-belt though. I was sitting at a stop light and pop. All my lights came on but I didn't realize what it was at the time, I had only had it a month or two. I drove probably 8-10 miles on battery...
I keep two belts in the car now

Take a 300grit piece of sandpaper and clean the entire pulley
Get a bar of "Laundry" Soap
When you install the belt make sure you are tightening all the bolts (Wish washers) or it will back out in 100 miles.
