Most extreme drag car with a VW four banger?! That thing is looking hugely fast even stand still. Awesome job. Reminds me of Jens Eklund A5..

I also run the R5671A-8 or 4554 on my S362 at 2 bar and they look exactly the same as Jim's. Cheap, effective plugs.

Re: Rubi - Not Really Feeling Right ATM...

Log from previous page indicates 308kpa at 5244rpms and 19 degrees timing...isn't that to much timing on stock comp motor?...egt seems low too at 706c.

Re: 4 FOX SNAKES - spring has sprung!

With the hand brake does it completely delete the relay and clutch switch?. So it would only need a LC activation switch on the dash and some wiring to the hand brake?

I was also having issues with LC on the oe clutch switch.

Re: Question torque on ARP cylinder head studs

Did my timing chain last night. Rechecked torque of the head studs nuts. They were all within specs, the undercut set I have haven't loosened a bit.

Re: Question torque on ARP cylinder head studs

Oh well, i'll recheck these anyways since I'm in need of a new timing chain. Cams are already off. I'll come back to you with results as retorquing was necessary or not.

As for the supplied washers in the ARP kit, I not using these. I've ordered HD ones from Thuppu on S2 forum.

If anyone needs ARP ...

Re: Phil's 20vt 5ktq. Koni's in. Other annoyances.

So it looks like you could have proper plates and bearings for half the cost of the 2bennett pieces. Only issue is no caster adjustment.
Do you know if there is more camber adjustment than the stock pieces? Cause the common thing is not being able to get to stock camber levels when lowering T44's ...

Question torque on ARP cylinder head studs

Looking at retorquing my ARP cylinder head bolts. Information about that is misleading. Some do, some don't.

Mine where torqued once at 80lbs/ft. Should I be concerned ?

[quote="ringbearer"][quote="da_trem"]Made those(originally for a Ebay E36 kit) with some ISC bearing hats. Cost me around 200$ max. No caster adjustment but they are solid and get the job done. Some fab is required but its minor.

Got any links?

I like the price ;)
