Hank would need to oblige for pics of my personal one. Luckily for you, we are working together to develop a nice one especially with the T-44 chassis and very large turbos in mind.

Yes they are... I'm about to go in on one from this next batch... My only concern is cracking from the use on the street... Lox I know you've said before, but could there still be a benefit for street users to pay the extra $300-$400 to get a cast Wagnor SQ EM?

Hank beat on his personal manifold for 20k with 35r unsupported and it did not crack.

He also says that there are quite a few other cars out there with 50k miles or so on his manifolds all unsupported with no cracks. A lot of it has to do with the heat treating he does I think (and of course the quality of the welding). I will probably support mine though since the turbo is roughly 50 pounds I think.

Mushasho, I don't think the Wagner one will ever be worth it. The way I see it, you either run a cheap cast one and make 500whp or less, or go balls to the wall and go tube manifold for 500whp or more. The numbers are sort of arbitrary, but its just my intuition I'm working with. I know some have made 500 whp on the STR-stype manifolds, but after that you see mostly tubes.

I forgot to mention that the 200 took home the third place award at H2O out of a TON of other cars (because the classes suck). It falls under the catergory of Audi from the beginning of time to 2001 in the "Mild" modifications class. I was very happy with the award considering the amount of cars in my class! The judge was VERY impressed when I told him that the car had 240k original miles.

With mods too! 390hp stock. Apparently a pulley, tune, and exhaust is worth a pretty decent power bump.

they usually do about 430-480rwhp depending on which combo of pulley is used.

Pump fuel. Had to let out due to traffic but you can see it was a damn close run.

Surprisingly he was very cool about it and gave me a ton of respect. I like when someone is cool about it. A lot of the locals are starting to know all about the 200 and it's funny. I'll pull into a local car hangout and people flock to it, like DAMNNNNNN! I heard the turbo in this thing....SOO loud. It's funny.

AMD's 91 200q Project

Post by amd is the best »

I get more compliments on this car then any of the others. I love it. Some random guy at my girlfriends bank drive through yesterday was all about it. "dude, real nice job. Paint is beautiful."

Launch control does work well too Chris. Haha. Mine doesn't shoot as much fire as yours though.
