I have to plug the 034 LW steel FW, it's the best of both worlds :)

The 200 flywheel is already pretty light in stock form. For a heavy car with no displacement I certainly wouldn't go aluminum.

if it's for launching/daily, I'd say steel... if it's for road course/rev matching ect, light weight aluminum...

Ok. Steel it will be.

Now how about friction material?

I have a clutchnet.com 6 puck sprung hub with the race PP. It's treated me really well. Has no problem with 6000rpm full boost clutch dumps.

That's the exact clutch I have in my 200 now. Love it! Unfortunately won't work with an 01E though.

What kinda Tilton are you talking about? Triple disk like I'm getting? If so, just be warned that it is about the manliest clutch you can have in terms of being on/off and really hard to drive. This is what I heard from the guy with the Pro52 in his UrS4

No way. I'm thinking Tilton twin with cerametallic friction surface. I want to be able to drive the thing. Lol

Call up cluthnet. They make all their stuff to order. I'm sure they could build you whatever you need.

It's not anything special, just need a 7A clutch and flywheel to go along with it however I don't like to do things twice.

I'm thinking that I might as well just install a clutch the is capable of handling my goal power now while I'm in there. Also, between getting a 7A flywheel and a South Bend stage 5 for example has me close to $1300. For $1600 I could have a Tilton twin and aluminum flywheel (though I will probably go for the steel one).

Clutchnet with a flywheel is just over $900, so still a great deal however they don't list any power/torque handling specs and I don't want it to be over powered.

AMD's 91 200q Project

Ordered a clutch today. Decided against the Tilton at least for now this season (as I'm not pushing the power any higher).

Ordered a 7A Clutchnet red pressure plate and 6 puck spring disk. The identical clutch I am currently running which has been phenomenal (after fixing the lazy clutch master cylinder).

Need to order up the 01E rebuild kit, a 7a flywheel and some custom transmission mounts from Hank. Debating on if I want to try JHM's new carbon coated syncros or go with OEM. I'll be talking to Scotty.

My linkage is still in the mail from Germany as well. Should have this all together within a month or so I'm hoping.

Do you have any logs with VEMS on pump I can dissect? I'll hab the cams and stuff so it should help me get my tube in the zip code a bit quicker.

I'll send some over when I get to a computer. Are you 3bar fpr or 4? And are you also running my injectors (870s)?

Played with a few new treats today. Got my linkage in from Germany and mocked it up on my 01E:

Felt excellent shifting into 6th :P

Also, you guys may have seen my post on polishing glass...if not here are some work in progress bi-xenon retrofitted Euro lights:

With the glass on (not going to work. I am going to make my own lenses):

Light output through the glass:

And without the glass (now you see why I'm making my own lenses):

Work in progress. I'll keep you guys posted.

Replaced it with a Boge from German autoparts. http://www.germanautoparts.com/productdisplay/44481 . Wasn't very fun to change, lol.

Came with the purchase of my house, lol. No idea what it was used for but I'm sure I'll come up with plenty to use it for.

Cutoff is obviously way better without the lenses, but light distribution is much better with. Pretty bad hotspots without.

How are you making your own lenses? Pouring glass?

I noticed that as well Ed. What do you think, just run the glass?

I planned to make a mold of the headlight and vacuum-form acrylic over the mold: http://www.hidplanet.com/forums/showthr ... ing+lenses
