Proof :) Please forgive the iPhone filming. I had planned to buy a nice SLR this summer but bought a 90 instead :)

3b intake/7A exhaust.

That video is awesome!!! LOL!!! I only wish I would have been able to have my Flip mounted in the car to record me laughing at myself.

My quote of the night after Dave tried to get me to ask the GMC truck owner what lift kit he had. My response, "There's no trash talking when you've only had 1 minute 49 seconds of track experience!". And I was referring to myself. Of course after getting my car all dirty I had to hear trash talking the rest of the night. Hank just babies that urQ....isn't willing to push it to its limits!

Dave's breather problems?....What breather? :D

On another note. We had over 100 cars show up, which might prompt Miller to open both the east and west and have two sides going at the same time. There was talk from multiple track operators of doing that. Or they might do it twice a month with that amount of turnout.

Still grinning this morning....

sounds really fun, wish track time was in the cards for me! Thanks for the info on the cams, I can always tell the difference between stock 20vt cams and 7a cams but wasnt sure if the sound difference comes from intake or exhaust or both.

haha, a little dirt like that won't hurt it. I am saying don't go sideways in the gravel trap or get close to any tire walls. I do have a sticker I'll send you to put on his car now, though =)

Where's Peter when you need him??

Congrats Darin, it's been a long journey and I'm truly happy you had fun and shook down the car.

But for the love of all thats holy - get yourself signed up for a couple of schools. These open track days scare the crap outta me for reasons which you stated in your post above. Don't lose respect for your situation, be thankful your first 'off' was at the track.

I will not remove the video, so 'all' evidence cannot be removed ;)

We plan on making it down there by 9am, but that depends on a few things, like getting the tdi swap to run.....
