Unfortunatley, I am using my flanges in my coupe. The motor and trans can still go in, The flanges can be installed later. I can have my machinist mod them if you need it. Hank is in town, but so damn hard to get a hold of. Actually talked to him yesterday....but he called me...

Bring the drive shaft and let's get it in then. What time can you make it down? I have to take my daughter to a soccer game at 2.

Getting it ready for you Brent! Got the axles disconnected and drive shaft off. I will have the tranny out and the new one ready to go. 10:30 a.m. enough time? Beer is on me, but you'll have to go buy it. :D

Believe it or not, heathen that I am, I don't much care for beer.... my vices turn more to fast cars and hot women.....

Looking at your drive line, seeing as you don't have the carbon fiber version, you could get that one shortened pretty easily. Six states should be able to do it and I bet for less than finding a 4k one with shipping.

Well, I'd like to get it in this weekend, so I doubt they would get it shortened by then, but maybe we can work something out.

I'll get mine pulled and you can borrow it, we'll take measurements before install and then you can get yours fixed up at your leisure.
I also had a couple of adaptors machined for six states so they can spin your driveline up and balance it afterwards. Tony at the ogden six states should be able to get them to the salt lake shop.

Busy morning. Up and out in the driveway by 7:30 to pull the 01A. Jack stands make a great lift.

Bolted on Hank's 01E mounts with some of the 01A hardware and a couple longer bolts from Home Depot. Also power washed the 01E the night before.

And there the lump sits in it's new home!!

It's coming together!! Still need to instal the drive shaft, cups, shift linkage, bolt the axles back on and then put the engine in!! Can't wait!!

did you put locktite on the bolts that hold on the mounts? I would HIGHLY recommend it if you are using "home depot" bolts.

Well, the pressure in on. Hank is moving next weekend and has basically told me the car needs to be done by Wednesday in order to get the downpipe welded up.

I got the input shafts in and the axles attached tonight. Early tomorrow morning the drift shaft goes in and then the block hopefully. Saturday should be all the engine and then button it back up. So much to do.
