The part that I started laughing at was when you said the pump could heat water to 120. We need special shirt pumps to drive our audi's OMG I seriously am laughing so hard...

Sooooo.....

I plan on getting more work done tomorrow on my car. Hopefully close to a turn key. I need to take some pictures and get this thread back on topic.

hank, talk to Mark S., he built his cooler too and just bought a shirt.

Yup, I built my cool shirt system in 2010, and it works great. Here's the info (not including the shirt itself):

The system actually works too well. With ice water in the cooler, I can only stand to have it on for maybe 10 seconds at a time. It's that chilling. I just cycle it on and off as needed.
Total price is well under $100 if you don't get the FIA pull release connectors.

I was tipped off to this little gem earlier yesterday and I got one in route.

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_sacat=0 ... man&_sop=1

The Donjoy Iceman's are cool because they have some regulation on cooling. The connectors are the same as the Cool Shirt, and the pumps are rated the same. The only catch is they are not 12v, so they will need to be run thru a small inverter. That is cool, as I already have one in the car for Laptop, chargers, ect.

I got mine barely used for 50$ and that includes the pump, lines and a butt pad! With that and the shirt, you could feasibly put together a kit for under 200

I'm adding some pictures for future reference. I can't find out digital camera so these come from my phone.

Here is the mounting of the volvo a/c compressor.
Image

You can see how short it is and how it clears the 3b oil filter housing.

Image

The crossmember was custom made and you can see the mounting points for the oil cooler. I'll post other pics when the intercooler is mounted.

Image

Here is the other side to show the plumbing from the intercooler.

Remember, it's easy to go fast. The hard part is going fast with AC. Love this car.
