Ok, sit down everyone.

All in, $1,700. Yep, the entire thing. Now, before everyone asks for his contact information, this was a one time deal and highly unlikely he'd do this again for that cheap.

I had 3 offers to buy the car from people who saw it being worked on. Most didn't even know what kind of car it was and many drooled over it. It really turned out better than I expected and there is no way I could have accomplished this on my own. Yes, it has imperfections, but its a stunning car now.

Remember Darin, I'm first on the sell list when you swing back down off this high. Whatever it is on this roller coaster that brings you back down, don't let it be wrecking this awesome looking car. I can deal with a head gasket or tranny.

That is a really unbelievable price, most places would charge that just to re-spray the car. Did you give him back those barnyard animal pictures you have of him?

You did well my friend. I can just imagine the conversation:

"What kind of car is that? Nevermind, I don't care, it's awesome and I want it!"

Darin, now is the time to cut and buff the car. If you want it to have that mirror finish, do it before yo clear bra it. I can help with that when my schedule changes for the better. Let me know if you want to tackle that?

He wants me to bring it back in a couple months to do the cut and buff at no extra charge. He took a lot of pride in this and even pointed out some things he wants to fix when I bring it back. Like Jim said though, I don't want to wait too long before getting the clear bra so the sooner the better.

The weather isn't looking good this next week so it likely won't make it outside anytime soon. :(

good to know darin. just keep it in the garage until it is done. it sucks to not drive it but its what has to happen to insure the cars perfection. I dont get to drive mine very much either. :(

Skirt envy! I really like them with the trim delete. Make me wish I had done the same with mine before wrapping. Can't wait to see this in person :)

I mounted the pump and the reservoir and have most of the wiring done. Just need to add the connector on the pump side to connect with VEMS. Then I need to run the copper line under the car to the injector.

Very nice addition to a very nice car. You have done more to your car in the last six months than mine have received in triple that and, everybody sit down, with very little drama. I almost don't want to lurk anymore.

Any reason why you are doing copper line to the manifold? I ran mine with plastic tubing with no problems on past cars.

I suggested copper to Darin. I have had a ton of issues with plastic lines. Blowing out, melting, poorly sealing fittings. Ideally it would be stainless Teflon, but that's a pricey line. The copper has worked really well underneath the car for me.
