Either something found its way down between the timing belt cover or possible you may have an 016 pulley on with 7a 20v everything else? The offset is a bit different and will let the belt walk out. As for the pulley, its just the stock one that came with that engine. I never did much mix'n matching between the JT and such. Still, I count today as a big success, I drove it and avoided really breaking it! On a side note: I couldn't stop thinking about it so I ran down to the shop and shined a flashlight down the lower timing cover and it looks like something took chunks out of the cog. :/ SO I am going to be needing a cog and a belt at the bare minimum. I will pull it apart tomorrow and post pictures of the carnage.
