I think I might have one in the mess of fuel lines I have from the one I had. I will check.

What downpipe did you use? Urq or 5ktq?

Mike, If you saw the line he needs would you be able to ID it?

I might, but when I did my swap I kept the fuel filter under the car in the stock location (had no reason to relocate). My feed/return lines were simple factory hookups and no 5ktq lines were needed. I may be able to identify, though.

I used the 5ktq down pipe. Its close to the frame but its still a good 3/8-1/2" of clearance

Gotcha. I know SOME people have had issues. I used a Urq downpipe which fit perfectly. As long as the dp doesnt knock against the subframe you are good to go.

Looks like things are progressing nicely. Keep it up!

Update!

Got one of the rear struts done minus the shock insert! I re-drilled one of the rotors to the 5x112 pattern. I was doing some research and discovered that the rear 5ktq rotor is only .004" larger than the 4kq rotor. I'm going to take one and see how it lines up just for shitz and giggles.

Wiring is 95% done. Waiting on that fuel line to come from DE80q and the fuel should be done.

I know now how I am going to mount and route the intercooler. Pics to follow. Gathering all the throttle linkage today from the JY so I can retain the stock 4kq throttle cable

Glad I had that line still kicking around

about the throttle cable, there is a way for you to use the 4k cable? that would work out well!

Yes, Mr. Rog sent me a picture of how it would go together. You use the 4k valve cover, and the throttle linkage off of an automatic 5k

Update!

Picked up the throttle linkage from the JY over the weekend. The linkage came off an automatic 5k. I took the hardlines and the connector that goes on the throttle body. I think the only thing I will have to fab up is the cable connector. Ill need to make it a ball n' cup style. I think what I will do is insert the the throttle cable into one of the extra ball couplers and crimp it like a battery cable terminal. This is gonna save me about $115 over using a URq style throttle cable

Got all the brake rotors turned for free and learned how to use a brake lathe over the weekend. Gonna finish re-drilling the other rear rotor to 5x112 today.

Figured out how I am going to route the intercooler as well. Shouldnt be too hard. Still havent given much thought to the oil cooler yet. I think Im going to put it where the horns are as I cant use the horn with my S4 steering wheel at the moment. I may fab a switch up or make the S4 wheel compatible.

Ordering the rear bilsteins and all the tires this Friday.

Got passenger side strut/suspension done last night. The 5k strut fits nicely, although it was a bitch to install. The greasable URq balljoints work nicely. There is sway bar clearance issues when fully extended, but that it non existant when under compression. When the wheels are on the ground, there will be 0 clearance issues.

Got the throttle linkage done last night too. Works perfectly, is smooth as butter, and only cost me $5 and a little bit of thinking

Ill have pictures later today

Sweet! Glad to see that worked well for you. Are you going to trim the old bracket down or were you planning on keeping the cruise control?

I need a beer. This intercooler setup is giving me a headache.

On a good note, the front passenger axle is in. Got the front stainless braided brake lines done too. Had to have the new lines made about 4.5" longer to accomodate the new brake setup

Got quite a bit done today after work. Got the passenger tie-rod hooked up with the new MOOG end. It honestly looks like I didnt have to bend the tie-rod. Theres plenty of room, but perhaps this is because I am using the t44 struts and not 4k struts? Idk. Picked up the rear pads, ordered the read HD bilsteins, got the front pads, and got through the day without doing a burnout in the truck :). And on that note, ordered 8 4-hole 24lbs/hr injectors for the truck. No more crappy 18lbs/hr single hole injectors!

Decided it would probably be a good idea to do the intercooler last after everything is back in place. That way I dont have routing and clearance issues. Cut the core support up to how I think I am going to use it. I plan to put A/C in the car so I must take the condenser into consideration

Havent really decided what to do with the oil cooler. I think ill get rid of the factory lines and just have something custom made. Would look way cleaner and make my life easier. I removed the horns and may fab up a bracket or something

Got the radiator, power steering pump, washer fluid pump, overflow tank, and all associated hoses hooked up
