Hell, I forgot about more "Kills" than I can remember. Once I sold the car, the "Killing" continued at an accelerated rate. My buddy AND his girlfriend started to decimate many different "so called" power players. He always let me know what M3, or Dodge viper, mustang or S4 he left at the line crying and complaining "I WASNT READY!" it was pathetic and sad at times. Some got pretty upset at being put in their place. I always laughed at them and said Its not worth throwing a tantrum over.

the trick was that the car was so light and the upgrades were enough overkill that constantly dropping the hammer was nothing. with the coilovers the suspension kept the power to the ground and the car launched like a bullet out of a gun. it was comical at times how badly they were beaten. of course at that point you know its over and you let off the throttle, they come by you like a flash and lie to themselves that they didnt get beaten as bad as they really did.

This is with "THE CAM" too.

Basket looks great! Should look sweet with the lights mounted and on.

I would imagine the Volvo K24, "THE CAM", and VEMS should prove to be an extremely powerful combination.

Now if only the warm weather would get here.

SHIT! fiddle sticking tbelt broke somehow. Its shredded. I was in a parking lot leaving and it died on me. Heres my question though. No one in the car heard anything resembling the sound of anything hitting valves. Is the MC2 camshaft interference? Shit

Ok, what the hell is going on with you and Tbelts!? Did you upgrade to the super torque setup, or are you still running the original setup? Sorry cant remember.

As for the mc2 cam, as far as I know it is not interference.

unfortunatly, yes, they can be. all you can do is check and see. pull the v-cover and see if any of the lifters have a gap or are stuck down. if not, replace the belt and check compression. sounds like the notorious bolt scenario.

What a bummer!! They are interference motors and more than likely you have bent valves. On twenty valve sucka motors and bent valves, the valves aren't the biggest PITA, but getting to them. Pulling a 20vt head in a T44 is bad enough.....I'll bet in a small chassis car it doesn't get easier. I've rolled past valves by hand without bending, but never had that luck while running. What was your RPM when it broke?

Id say around 1500-2000. I tried cranking it over but it just sounded like the spark plugs were pulled. Didnt hear anything like valves being hit

Well that is how it is going to sound once all the valves are bent and leaking compression past them.....no noise because they are already bent out of the way, and no compression sound because there is none.....just like the plugs are out. :(

If you cranked with no belt you have bent valves.

Maybe so, but how many people when their car stalls get out and check their timing belt? I would have tried to restart also and when it sounded like no compression cranking, then I would have started to think about the belt. Wait.......I have done that and more than once.

Agree, that was an innocent mistake. Hindsight is 20/20, not always so wise in the moment.

Hope you're back up and running soon!
