yep, i got the location. but didnt realize its a press in thing.. crap.
all this bushing and pressing shit is fiddle sticking going to piss me off....
i dont want to pay someone to do it for me.
i want to do it myself.

Kuma - 034 doesn't make an "Urq Rear Diff mount".
They have two styles of rear diff mount (Assuming your talking about the center mount and not the side mounts).
One is Delrin. The other is Density Line Rubber.
BOTH are speced as B2/B3 mounts. BOTH Should work fine in a B3 as B3's have the hole right in the center just like 034's mounts.
Now the Urq and early 4kq have the hole on that mount Offset. So if anything, I would think that the issue would be running the 034-Mounts on an early urq/4kq. In practice though I doubt it matters. All it does is change the tilt of the rear diff a bit on the early cars lining the driveshaft up with the input a little more. (Hole is offset to the top at the rear which will drop the rear and raise the front of the Diff.

Peter ran one in his car. I was going to (and their C/A bushings) but 034 made me an offer i couldn't refuse on the same parts.

Both the Powerflex & the 034 stuff are "Good". Depends on what your looking for.
Subframe:
For a daily Driver, I'd definitely go Powerflex over Aluminum 034 stuff. But for track I aleady did go 034.
Control Arm:
Again, for a daily, I prefer Rubber (I would think Powerflex might be a good way to go too). For a weekend car or track car, then Delrin from 034 would be my preference.
Diff / Tranny Mounts.
Again, for a track only car. I'd go Delrin. But for a street car, Id go with either of the 034 Density Lines. I personally did Track in the back (Diff), and did Street for the transmission. BUT...If I had a chipped 5cyl-Turbo, I'd do track for the tranny too.
Not sure if that helps any.

1-Rear mount. This is a press in if you go with a OEM or 034 Densitly line. That means you have to pull the Diff out to do it. "Also a good time to replace your Output shaft seals." For this mount 034 also has a Delrin version that should install without a press, but you still have to press out the old one.
I would run the same mounts for all three. IE...If you go delrin on the sides, make the rear Delrin. IF you go rubber on the sides, make the rear one a rubber one. Putting a delrin rear mount in, and leaving floppy rubber side mounts, will put a lot of stress on the delrin mount and would think with enough power could break something.

zarati makes a good point. I would make sure you have the same "style" mounts in all 3 places on the diff. I actually prefer to have the entire driveline using the same, but to each his own. I will be running the 034 density series on the entire thing, engine, trans, and diff.
But on the subframes, and CA's I will be running the solid mounts. Again from 034(kinda) :wink:

i got my short shifter...
it has German parts numbers but i looked them up with no luck.
its not a Billzcat1 shifter, i asked him. Mr. Hoffman said its not his.

im thinking about getting the 034 tubular small body control arms. Any experience on these? worth it?

I had thought about it, but then again, I cant justify the extra cash on them. Aaron uses the cast CAs on all four corners on the CQ. That is test enough for me.

As for your shifter, I think its the factory shift rod, with a modified rabbit shift ball. Im not sure what the alum plate if for though. Maybe its there just to tighten things up, or possibly to keep the shift ball from falling out.
Are there any part #s on the shifter mount? You dont normaly get the shift rod with it, ust the mount.

All corrado's were cable shift and they didn't look a thing like that. The MK1's looked a little like that.

Could also be a vanagon shifter plate. I think that is the other one that will work as a short shifter.

Looks like it turned out great! Ill swing by Friday, ill be out in the field again from Sun-Thurs so now its three meets in a row ill miss.

sanded with 1000 grit and then wet sanded with 2000 grit
then cleaned them off
Sprayed 1 layer and waited 5 minutes
then sprayed 1 layer and wet sanded again with 2000 after it had dried
then automotive clear cause krylon is garbage. ill have to look at what we used to do it and report back
also, my radio died, my inside lights dont come on and my tail lights are dimmer on one side then the other, then they are perfectly fine later on... its driving me nuts. the bulbs are ALL NEW.
