When you get tired of it you can lock the brakes up a few times and peel it off.

Body filler is not meant to be used to fill holes. It has different expansion rates than the material it is applied on, and I can guarantee that you will be able to see that hole shortly after it is painted. I would recommend that you chip that filler out and use a two part epoxy resin to fill the hole, then finish with a glaze of filler. Also, I wouldn't suggest using spray can primer if you ever plan on having a quality urethane paint applied over it, as the products are not compatible.

But the car looks good, and I'm excited to see the finished product!

the car is still bogging down. What are some reasons the car will bog down or misfire?

it has new 034 injectors 3000 miles and complete top end rebuild as well...

dunno about the knock sensors

dunno if its the dizzy

not sure if its the fuel filter

...yet

when i start the car the idle jumps up to 1300 RPMS and stays there for a few seconds, then levels out at 1000RPM.

then when i am starting off the car will bog down then launch then bog down then stutter, with my foot on the gas. if im at idle, its chill no issues. the RPMS will creep up to 1300 RPM when im sitting at a redlight, but if i tap the gas pedal it will go back to normal.

Its wierd.

Look over the intake boot very carefully and you may find a crack. They do crack pretty easy when they are as old as they are. I had a crack in mine and cleaned it as good as I could, sealed it up with a dabble of the Right Stuff. ( good quality silicone ) you can spray carb cleaner or flammable brake cleaner around connections, hoses, gaskets that have to do with the intake tract/vacuum while the engine is running. When you hear the idle go up on its own, you found a leak. It's kindof a getto way of doing it but it works. Don't set yourself on fire. Or find a buddy wither a smoke machine and find it the pro way.

Another thing to check is the throttle position sensor, you will need an ohm meter and and probably a wiring diagram to check it's sweep for glitches,

Hope you don't need a TPS. I think they are about $350 now if you can find one.

I don't believe so. I have a couple extra so don't fret just yet. As long as its the hitatchi components that is. I may need to start charging you for all my spare parts though. I even have that spare intake boot I repaired if you need it.

Throw some isopropyl alcohol gasoline dryer into the gas....i've pulled my hair on similar symptoms before and it was water in the gas...also check for tears on the underside of the intake boot, where the crankcase ventline enters
