ya. simplicity. short runs of lines. cost of materials (that damned braided line aint cheap). dont need a big cell for this car, its for drag race only. larger cell holds more fuel = more weight. longer lines hold more fuel = more weight. sure, its negligible, but still it all adds up.

ease of access. i dont even have to pop the hood to fill the cell in this car.

and my other question...

don't you need some weight in the rear?

what is going to provide that?

I'm sure it will hook up just fine, but just figured I'd ask.

im not quite sure the dimensions on this, size i know but im talking about the inlet and outlet sizes, but this is what ill be going with once im at that point. i just want to get more schit in the engine bay and measure to make sure i can fit that size i want to fit in there.

i want something that has both inlet and outlet on the drivers side, cause that'll be simple for plumbing, as you already know.

anyways, here's the chevy style that they make, i have the part number of the other styles down at work, so ill post that once i get there.

http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Speedway- ... ,3557.html

aluminum, double pass, and you can get them in a style that has both inlet and outlet on the drivers side, and iirc they were only a buck 180 maybe.

edit: speedway part number's 917-341-22. last number is the width of the radiator. they make 22,24,26,28,31 aluminum, double pass.

man i am really thinkin on it. see, its saturday. i am in with a group that has the dragstrip rented for a private affair on June 1, Monday. that has the potential for 30+ runs if i dont break anything.

of course, this car is nowhere completed. i wanted to run this Coupe on Monday, but life happened, and things got shuffled around. so if i go its in the rabbit.

hey, just thought of something.

last year, i shook down the rabbit (Bug-in was Sunday) 6 passes. then went the next day (our track day) and made one pass, 11.76. broke the next run.

i can go out Saturday, and run it some. if i break, depending on the level, i can fix sunday and go monday :) (as in, i have two fully built, Peloquin LSD'd trans's for the rabbit if i break it i have a spare LOL)

now i got some thinkin to do....

you still got my number Will? i will text you tonight if not.

Yea I still have it. If I don't have any big projects due next week I'll probably be meeting up with some friends from Bend and I'd love to see the rabbit run. I'll even bring my Nikon for some photos of the beast.

I understand if you want to save it for monday though. But think, you can iron out any problems on Saturday and be ready to go on Monday

ok. goin racin with a PLAN OF ACTION on saturday. WOOHOO!!!!!!

just got done spraying on a splash of color on the car. did the first coat, base and clear. its the same as the doors, but not fenders and skirts and bumpers.

so when it comes time (2 weeks maybe) we will mask and shoot the WHOLE CAR once again at one shot. the original color was really growin on me.... but i like the new shade. it looks good. and yes, we shot it right there, where it sits..... its just a race car....

Yeah, I like the color too Aaron! nothing wrong with a front yard spray. If the weather is just right, it can come out just as good as a booth spray.

External Painting Association?

what exactly is the difference in this versus spray paint, other than this does not deplete the ozone from whatever does that? as they sell spray paint over the counter, and its used everywhere.....

i dunno. i am going to run the car on corn (E85) as well, its much cheaper than gas.

i just got my 1600cc injectors yesterday, matter of fact.

These days there really is not much difference as we are not using cfc propellants, no difference, they are both bad..... Its all about the VOC's toxic pollutants, heavy metals etc etc etc. Im not busting your balls BTW
