The page you are used to seeing as the mg.com homepage is the "View active topics" link at the top of the page. They just set it as the home page, I don't plan on doing the same. Although I do like the suggestion of filtering the "Other" forum section from those results.

Is this what you're calling the "new threads" list? It's not necessarily NEW threads, just active ones. Unless you're referring to a different page?

The one I was clicking was "view new posts" rather than "view active topics". I don't know the difference between the two, but yes... I think you get what I'm talking about. Like it was said before, if you want classifieds or off-topic banter, you can just go there directly. I think Hank would approve as he has mentioned his frustration with wading through the bs on MG to get to "the good stuff."

so i went to edit my title on my build thread and it erased the pictures from the first post. how can you prevent that from happening?

One thing I notice is clicking the orange 'go to first unread post' button doesn't work all the time. Does sometimes, but every now and again it'll put me at a spot BEFORE my own last personal response... let alone the last bit I'd read.

Why no 'email-thread' button? I have people I've been trying to send links to threads they'd be into but have to do the dinosaur way by copying and pasting the URL and then logging into email and sending the thread manually.

There was something reallllly funky going on in your thread, the post about the beltline trim was f'ing up the formatting on the page somehow. There were no spaces between posts after that point and the pictures disappeared from there too. It may have been because there were two closing quote brackets. Should be fixed now but I'll keep an eye out for that bug.

I've noticed that as well... seems like if the page it's going to has a lot of pictures loading, it throws it off. I believe what happens is it jumps to the spot that would be correct before the pictures load, then they load and it pushes the correct spot down the page. I will look into it but it seems to be like that on all phpbb forums.

How about having the page number you're on be filled in with a different color so you know what page you're on? Hard when jumping around in the longer threads, aka dramaraider et al.

So first picture uploaded ends up at the end on the project thread.

so how about some way of knowing if you have posted in a thread or not. like VWKotex does.

here we are able to alter our thread titles. some like myself alter only the second part and leave the "Aarons Drag Coupe.... blah blah blah" or whatever. but some people totally change the whole entire thread title.

maybe a green light or some notification when going thru the recent topics list that you have in the past posted there?

Probably the only thing I like about whoretex is the post count #, so when you link to other people you can tell them which post to refer back to.
