There's room to fit a second one on that flange I think.. I'll add it.
Scratch that, I think the block might not be big enough. I might be able to rig up a 'y' of some kind that would allow two probes to go in there.
Oh, no worries. Don't go to any trouble. I can figure out another way to do the test I was planning. I want to compare the response time of the exposed junction TC vs. the ungrounded enclosed TC. I can probably do this by logging the EGT along with RPM and boost on successive runs and plotting it.
put in a little work tonight on the car. I'm glad I'm anal retentive about checking cam timing whenever removing the belt, because I was off by 2 teeth on the exhaust camshaft alignment which caused interference. Rotating the engine over by hand and inspecting the cylinder with my boroscope made it obvious. I could have sworn I set it correctly before installing the head but obviously not!
Thankfully no damage done, I went back in and re-adjusted the cam timing and now the motor rotates over smooth. I should be able to drive the car out of the garage for the first time in a month tomorrow :woowoo:

No problem, it was fun playing with your new welder. Looking forward to that welding class tho so I can make it easier to pretend that I know what I'm doing!
Now to figure out where the slight cooling leak I'm seeing in the form of a puddle on the ground in the morning is coming from :x
I bought an upgraded 044 motorsports pump from 034 about 3 months ago and finally to around to installing it in my wagon. Its HUGE compared to the stocker, obviously more like the design of the 80/90/4000 pumps we've grown to love:
