he's an audi virgin so I'm trying to break him in easy.
Marc- just reinforce and re-weld your pedal. I replaced on on my 200 20v, then had one go on one of my urs4's......after looking at it i was like, why in the heck would i source/buy another one when i can reinforce this one so i won't ever happen again, AND save money. JM2C.
Marc, just weld it back up. There is enough room to get a strengthening gusset in there. Just check the stroke of the mechanism to ensure it isn't bottoming out and isn't causing the bracket to fatigue.
When my father got his S6 Avant, he was pleased to see that the firewall was sturdier compared to the early cars, so that they don't crack around the clutch master cylinder. We then learned that instead of the firewall cracking, the pedal breaks, which is easier to fix, but still annoying! :bashtard:
haven't had any time. Been really busy lately finishing some non-car projects (the bill paying kind) I'll probably put the car back on the dyno next time I rent a full dyno day to tune customer cars.
no updates because there haven't been any. right now the car is in the garage, nicely detailed by germantoy and hasn't left the bay since! Part of the problem is I'm also using the car for some bench testing on a few customer projects...
