Sweetness, D-rock. Hope we get to meet up at some point. I like the MC job you did. You've given me inspiration. With new brakes, I feel the MC I have is somewhat inadequate, and on its last legs, anyway.

Nice, I really need to do a prop valve like that. Have you played with different settings for when you have the center diff locked?

no, i haven't played with it much yet. i will soon though. saturday is going to be a 600 mile roadtrip back home with my friends and cousin, should be fun :P (i'm hoping it will be at night to avoid 100+ degrees during the day, blech)

and patrick, yes, it would be cool to meet up one day. i'll let you drive my car if you let me drive yours :D

That might be dangerous, D. I have a feeling that my car may inevitably evoke cliches similar to those about black lovers.

here's the adjuster i modded for adjusting the rear struts through the parcel shelf...

Image

the gray tube is reamed out to be a snug fit over the top strut nut and helps to align the adjuster onto the tab sticking out of the strut....

well, time for the ultimate test for all that i've put together in the last few weeks. the trip from sacramento,CA(where i work) to silverton, OR (where i live) is about 580miles door to door. we got all packed up in the afternoon and two of my buddies are travelling up with my dad and i for camping at the coast this next week, and then fishing in canada the week after (been waiting a while for this vacation 8) )

we ended up leaving sac at about 11pm and pulled into the driveway at home a little before 8am. the drive was fantastic and both my friends confirmed that the 400# springs and konis at full stiff with 26mm sway bars front and rear is certainly streetable and even comfortable most of the time. the only noises i've seemed to encounter are the already existing exhaust rubbing, and i think there's a littlw whine from the tranny... i guess i'll see if she blows or locks up :D otherwise it cruises nice and quiet, so quiet infact we don't have to raise our voices to talk at all  it also cruises at real speed quite nice as well, the suspension is perfect for opening it up and the new brakes from Billzcat1 worked flawlessly!

here's some pics from the trip :-)
