*checking my car to see if my center caps are still present*[/quote]
hahahha... LOL, I came up on some!!! Actually, I came up on a second pair of rims sean. I have a set with 1 bent one that I got cheap, and they came with the center caps. pay attention to the front left and rear left caps though. One is the BBS cap, and the other is an Audi cap. I put two on to see which one i liked better.. but I really cant decide.. the BBS ones make it look faster, but the bbs make it look classy. what look ar we going for!
WEAK....we dont drink diet, we go strait for the real stuff. However the garrage meet is welcome!! PM you addy today, and ill map quest it, and come over this afternoon. Now that I have my own center caps, I am probably allowed to know where you live!!!! LOL Yeah, that would be a major push!! but my girlfriend is going out of town next weekend to florida for a week... Hmmmmm.. How many sets of blinkers do you NEED..
I gotta come down and slap....uhhh talk some sense in to you.. Don't sell the UR, just sell the motor.....to me <insert evil laugh here>. Of course, my wife won't let me take up TWO spaces in the garage and my frankenbugstien isn't quite finished.

I'd like to see your .set file. You want to send it to me?
Yep, It is pretty rough with the coupe right now.. I need to free up some money.. but I dont think the coupe is for sell quite yet.. Lately I have been hanging out with a bunch of Subaru guys, and one of them that used to live next to Bruno and has seen and driven in some of his AudiSport cars. Well, I had mentioned that I liked the STI and that I wouldnt mind trading. I said that mostly as a joke, but we were at the track last night, and he handed me his keys and said that he brought the title.. Tempting.. that would be like getting 22k for my URQ..
Oh, but lately I am in love with the car again.. She is sure fun to cruise around. Getting Random 40 year olds drive up next to you on the freeway, yelling out the window that they love the car, and that they always wanted one dosnt seem to get old.(that guy was driving a brand new BMW x5).. My Dad thinks its cool.. My girlfriend gets embarrassed, and dosnt get it. LOL
Elevens here I come..
Hank- About two or three months ago I was thinking real hard about selling mine. But the problem I found is that unless you get an STI or Evo (which although I actually like I would not get) you have to spend stupid money to find a car with more cool factor, all weather performance, history, fun to drive factor. Plus there is the fact that the the urq is a sleeper (99.99% of the population has no idea what it is) that kept - so you can drive like an idiot sometimes and get away with it because you're in "some old audi" or "Scirroco with a body kit" - so you attract less attention....as opposed to some other cars that are targets for the authorities and just plain attract some unwanted attention.
Anyway I have since come back around and and have been driving mine a lot - the S4 sits most days...and coil on plug ignition is forthcoming for this 3B....
:stupid: No comparison 20v built urq-STI. 22k is a lot of juice. I would trade and sell the STI for what it's worth and take the cash and start the next build, personally!

I like how you think. I just cant see myself driving a newer "boy racer" car. The thing is they have no SOUL!

Logic is not too bad here, but, you would have to find another clean chassis/interior car. Go through the build process again - time is money! Unless you are NOT happy with what you built now or REALLY need cash for something more important then I would say keep it! Enjoy the car. Beat the hell out of it.
As for the GF not liking it....hell, some peoples wifes don't like their toys but what are they gonna do?? Ask her next time, are in on this for the car or the person next to you?? I'd rather put my money in the car than gamble it off at the table..
i'm not one to say a car is worth more than a person.. because they aren't, but you need to question motives when a girl tells you you need to get rid of a car.... especially when it's your hobby. you can't get rid of something like tinkering with cars, and if she can't deal with that, then it's better to go your separate ways and wait for the right one who knows your passions and embraces them... not tells you to get rid of them.
That car is absolutely beautiful. I got the very rare pleasure of seeing one here in Columbus, as I pulled along side my jaw must have dropped because the guy waved and laughed. STI's and EVO's are fun, but everyone is right..they just dont have the soul.
I don't think he was very impressed with that run seeing as he had put bigger injectors in and was running R compound tires ( although small and still not enough traction) and c16 fuel. I think that it is time for a dyno session!
That said I have to say he is running himself ragged trying to get a wedding together and still even get to the strip. Not bad at all.
I bet he'd/ you go crazy if you/ he didn't have that moment of freedom the strip brings amidst the craziness of the wedding... thank God I skipped all the craziness, got married with a preacher, wife, and 2 necssary witnesses in the desert, then after all the craziness began once the families found out
Don't you be giving him ideas......well at least it would be done and over with that way, but then I would be left for the next couple of years hearing about it from his MOM.
