So for my own sanity, I am pretty sure I will be trailering the car up to Carlisle... I haven't even had a chance to attempt to get it running, and I'm still assembling.

Question is, who can I book time with to help me get this puppy running properly? Do I have any volunteers? :) I will compensate with beer or $$, but will have a case of good cheap beer to amuse us as we work (or soda to bribe you, Hank... heh)

Let me know! Would REALLY appreciate the help. I'm sort of at my wits end with it now.

Also, I'd take a Medium, Hank... if you have extras ;)

I'll load the software up on my computer, though my battery on my tuning laptop should have been replaced before this trip. See you tomorrow guys!

Awesome, thanks, Hank! I will bring my laptop along as well (with charged battery) so we have a fallback (though it's old and tired). Will try to get my mac set up to work as well, but will see how time plays with me.

Me too... but it's pretty much dedicated to my car since it uses serial and the battery doesn't work so I have to use an inverter

I brought mine, but I managed to leave the USB to Serial in a last second decision to not take 2 bags of parts to Carlisle. See you guys tomorrow!

Unfortunately not... Went to Marcs Facebook and snagged the pic...

I'm facing a bit of a set back on my project, sadly...

Just got back a few hours ago. Wow, what a great weekend! I'm sure others will share some fun stories, but I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who was able to attend! This year was one of my favorites out of the 10 years we have done this. It was a pleasure to meet and schmooze with Hank a bit and to see Marc, Hank, and the rest of the crew do some tuning and work on cars there. I give them A LOT of credit for the profession they have chosen and only can live vicariously through them :)

Too many cool things that showed up to mention (Justin's 4ktq, a S6 Plus, Tim Maskus' Urq, Martins S2 Avant, Corey's CQ, etc). Great breakfast at the dealership Saturday morning followed by lunch and eventually dinner. The weather held off for the most part and it wasnt blazing hot or super sunny.

Just a few pictures. I honestly didnt take many as I took the opportunity to socialize more than I had been able to the past few years.

Thanks! The fact that it wasnt sunny really helped mine look decent, lol. Your car was nice to see there. I really admire the work that has gone into it thus far and cant wait to see more.

Perfect weekend!

Just got home.

Been on the road since 7.30 am and it's now 10.30 pm!!

Just wanted to say a big thanks to all who helped make this happen. Thanks to Mike for arranging all the food etc, your hard work is very much appreciated. The breakfast at the Audi dealership was amazing as usual.......a big thanks to them. :D

Also I wanted to say that Matt in my opinion, gets full respect for keeping his shit together under very stressfull situations where most people would have lost in and threw the towel in........
All from nursing his 4k there and back with a sick engine and a 3 year old son in the back, to loosing his wallet 2 times and getting it back again......what weekend.

The Audi community rocks..............

Cheers,

Craig

I figured, on both, but was hoping :D Looks sofa king nice in there even without a fancy valve cover 8-)

I almost convinced myself to slap my spare 7a head on the AAN bottom end; we'll see if it sells by the end of summer.
