Well I notice the motor smoking after taking off from an idle or cold start. I have my suspicions but will try to keep from jinxing myself. Burned more than a quart in 700 miles. Running 5w40 rotella ATM. Not my usual Amsoil blend but that shouldn't make a difference on a new motor.
Leak down test this weekend. Still making great power.
I'm going to reserve my guess s well but I will say that when I self tune my car on stock compression and pump gas I'm going to run 20-23psi and THAT'S IT. Specifically for my turbo (30r .63 a/r).

he's on corn so I doubt its a detonation issue. certainly wasn't on the dyno, clean pulls every time, aside from the occasional pipe trying to throw itself across my shop I will say, 32psi is pushing the turbo pretty hard. I'd be curious to know what the shaft speeds are at these levels....
It's not detonation. Car still pulls cleanly. Prob worth mentioning wills car smokes kinda like mine. I'm leaning towards turbo seal dumping it right into the exhaust but will have a little more time this wknd to see what the plugs look like, do a leak down test, and see if there's any oil in the intake tract.
When wills was smoking like that and we checked his plugs at your place, they were pretty minty so seems like we *might* have similar issues. Time will tell. He had pretty strong leak down numbers a few days before hitting the dyno so unless that was his kiss of death seems like he might be leaking some oil at the turbo as well.
would we be able to see some other pics of the side exhaust, im really debating on doing it to mine. just like to see how you routed it under the car.
thanks,
Kenny
