Let's try a Tapatalk update.

Got the shock plates on and the lower bracing. Waiting for the housing ends to show up and then only one more step.

Aaron, I just caught a glimpse of this thread tonight without catching all the way up.

Ignore if you've already mentioned it - but has anyone requested both subframes and strut assemblies? Are you willing to part with them?

I have a project that needs 2-piece suspension from the top mounts out to the hubs...

Let me know

CQ OEM parts?

i have a few spares yeah.... dunno if i have COMPLETE from top mount to hub front and back. but i am sure i could piece it together with all the extra stuff i have.

but this car, part of the de4al was they would keep the OEM suspension and running gear. so i threw on some of my spare stuff to move it around until it got to the shop.

HMU PM with what it is you are exactly looking for.....

More rear end work was done today. Also made a part for a funny car called The Gambler and helped with a bagged supercharged hotrod Harley bike.

Rear end locater setup. All custom made. Machine work by me.Image

Finished off the x-locater and made the drop links for the anti roll bar. So cute they are. It is really nice having a lathe to use. 3/8" rod ends in chromoly tube.

The only reason I knew what it was is from helping my boss build his dragster. They are interesting pieces, but you won't find a better, or more solid way to mount the engine.

Wow, I have missed a lot lately. This thing is totally insane! That rear diff looks like it came out of a funny car or something. What a monster! Love the block mount and turbo location now too. I think you really belong in Scandinavia Aaron. This is one of the only builds in the US that is comparable to what some of those guys over there are doing with VAG products.

yeah i have not really kept it up here.

that was/is my first rear diff build from scratch. it sucked ass, i hated a lot of it, and for my misery i would gladly spend the money for a built one next time. but it is the same thing he builds for Top Sportsman and Pro-Mod type setups. the axles are like 2500+ whp or more. same stuff he has in a low 6 second/>220 mph Camaro with a 903 cubic inch BBC.

yeah there isnt much like it here, not in the VAG world anyhow. its possible that i might have some of that crazy Norwegian or Swedish bloodlines who knows?
