URS6 with B5 S4 front brakes?

i've been looking at front brake upgrade options for my URS6 avant. i know there's alot of info out there especially on quattroworld.com. my problem is that i cannot find a single post that says yes everything bolts right on with no problems or no you have to have this combination of parts to make the HP2 B5 S4 brakes work. i've seen a few people saying that the UFO brake spindles are needed to convert over, a few other posts saying that the normal G60 spindles allow the carrier to bolt right up. now the rotor, some say the 321X30 stock B5 S4 rotor works fine, others say no that you have to have a 314X30 rotor. so what will work and what needs to be modified to work? i have access to a whole B5 S4 and the whole entire brake system is intact. i dont want to buy this stuff if its not going to just bolt right up or atleast need to be modified a little to fit and work properly.

you need the (euro) front spindles from a car that had UFO brakes in order to bolt up HP2's. Then you can bolt up Cayenne brakes too

UFO uprights should bolt up to HP2 or 17/18Z calipers with spacers, but the g60 uprights are the ones you need for the "Big Red" RS2 setup. FWIW, I did a homebrew 996 carrera setup over 314x30 rotors for about $1100 all in, using the G60 uprights. Id recommend that over the HP2.

This is good stuff, there is a lot of jumbled info on QW about this topic.

So then, C2/986 Boxster S calipers will bolt up to the G60 uprights? Was that with or without the Apikol/034 caliper bracket?

i have a set of UFO spindles from a 1991 audi V8, could these be used with the HP2 carriers, calipers and rotors from the B5 S4? im not really looking into porsche brakes as they are out of my price range, i just want to install the HP2 setup from a B5 S4 because i can get both front calipers, carriers, rotors and pads for 90.00.

Pretty sure he used brackets.

I will make him do a write up in full detail - the brakes in his car are comparable to hitting a brick wall..

At least when they are warmed up HAH.

Well I picked up a brake setup from a 2003 A6 with a 4.2 V8. I pulled out my UFO spindles and started test fitting the brakes and my first road block is that the hub is completely different than the one used on the G60 brakes thus the A6 rotor doesn't fit the UFO hub at all. The carrier does line up with the bolt holes on the UFO spindle though which is an up point.
