.....why do I get this feeling that I should pack for just more than a weekend in October?

Thanks guys. Big shop and a lot of responsibility, but I am up to the task! Jobs opening in a hot desert climate near you! Good news is that the swamp cooler works great!

The shop looks nice, thanks for letting me stop by on my way through. I can't wait to see the crazy things you will turn out of there now that you don't have school in the way...

I got it fixed. It is running well enough now to grenade front diffs. I'll likely not touch it till it either cools down enough to drive it, or I need to take it to Pikes. I got to much else going on ATM.

Damn, where is the cot space? Can I move in? :D

15 years ago, I never in my life would have figured I would be drooling over a big empty shop. Very very nice.

Well, changed a transmission on my back for the first time in 3 years. Man that stinks. New transmission is working pretty well for being an unknown trans! I have my old built trans from Scott apart to scavenge the updated parts to put back into the new transmission I am building.

For now, this one will do and it will work fine to get me up to Pikes Peak and back. Running 22psi worth of boost for the remainder of the breaking period and then I'll likely turn it up to 33psi for DD duties. I have a couple of 55 gallon drums of e98 in the works now that I am in Vegas where it isn't ever cold. I have the pump and injector headroom to run the stuff, so I'll likely do it.

Pikes peak cleanup will start this weekend. Really want to cut and buff the car before I leave. Time is pretty low. I have put about 250 miles on it since I put the new transmission in. Low and behold, the last piece of OEM brake or clutch line decided to let go 10 miles from home in rush hour. Needless to say, my starter got a workout bump starting the car numerous times. Man these starters are beasts!!! I thought that my days of changing parts in a cramped sweaty job where over now that I have a nice shop, but there I was, sweating beads getting hte offending clutch slave line off for replacing! :frustrated:
