In fact, it was nice to see another failure of the lightweight lifters (in an otherwise well built and tuned motor) that garnered attention earlier this year with Nick's motor. Jeff's analysis certainly showed them to be a weaker design with less material in critical areas, but without some more data points, and ultimately some statistics, it was just academic. Well here's another.
And you were running 7A cams, yes? That also shows it can happen even without the narrow lobes of the CAT billets that Nick was running--another potential contributing factor in his case.
