My impreza ez30r with vems!

Hi everyone, Im from quebec,canada. My friend UncleHelmut here told me that forum is a good place of expertise and information so there I am(sorry for my bad English)!

If I start from the beginning . In 2011 Helmut swaped my impreza gf8 with a monster eg33 h6. It was probably the first gf8 eg33 at this time in quebec.
I put alot of time in this car and built it for the track(autox,lapping)





Winter 2014 I pushased an ez30r and I rebuilt it with the help of Unclehelmut to replace the eg33. ez30r engine is more powerfull,lighter,swaller,newer,etc! Im probably the first to run an ez30r in a impreza here!
To run this beast I choose to run a standalone(easier way to proceed) aka the vems

thanks everyone! with the old eg33 engine, It was a blast to drive and with the ez30r It probably gonna 2x better haha

thanks ! H6 engine are very nice and in a impreza, Its alot better!!
I dont like ej25 h4 junk, only wrx-sti ej20 are a good engine in the h4 category

Im not planning on turbo it or s/c for now, my goal is to have more seat time for now and my tuned ez30r probably gonna be quicker vs a stock sti!

This car was nutz with the EG33. I can't wait to see it dialed in with the EZ30R. The H6 sounds like a Porsche 911. At Suby meets, people were confused about the sound and counting 6 runners on the engine!

There is some update on the car!

Brady from Dynodoc did an awesome job to tune my car. It was a big challenge with the vems but the work paid off

I only had the time to run the car on the track 2 time due to problem solving that we had to do during the summer.

Forgive me for saying so but really a stock 6 makes the power of a stock turbo 4 but weighs more and the weight is farther forward in the car, so, I would hardly call it a performance upgrade.
With boost, yes, it could reign supreme but not yet.

Obviously you have never tried an H6 powered Impreza! The engine does not weigh anymore then a typical 2.5L STI engine with all the crap on it. Open the waste gate on an STI and then come and tell us how well that went. This engine is torquey and the power is on tap without any lag! EVERYONE is doing H4 swaps! In my book.....Boring!!! very boring. That boxer rumble is wearing out on me. The H6 sounds fickin' AWESOME.

As for oomph, Shark 22 and i have something up our sleeve. We're always a step ahead of these newly popular H6 swaps!

my dad have a 2005 outback h6 and you cannot compare the 2 car except they got the same engine!
for me its a performance upgrade vs the stock ej22 of 140hp haha Its proably the first ez30r swap with vems in canada at this time. Its a big project with alot of work and research. Just get it running it a big accomplishment and now using the car on the track and fighting with fast car(350whp subaru and other) is more than I expect for the first year.

The power mean nothing if you got a shitty power band, this engine torque like crazy at low rpm, just check my video!
In the lightweight chassis that I use its crazy how quick it is and how the car is balance..Its not a stock car also its a track setup!. No difference vs a h4 and the ez30r is like 1 in longer vs a h4 so no difference in handling. I rather like the h6 vs 4 banger

Everybody always want more power..that right.Im not done with it but one step a te time..I better like using it at 100% in improving my driving skill than get 500hp and look the car sit in car meeting Lol
