Leather Seats Care

Post by Draky »

So I was cleaning and conditioning my leather seats today when I noticed my drivers seat bolster was really worn and looks like it will rip real soon. I know it's my fault because I haven't done this since last summer and I know that there's no way to turn back time and prevent this. I'm just wondering if there's anything you guys have used in similar situations?

I'm restoring and recolor in the seats in my M5 with leatherique. The prestine clean and conditioner are the shit. I used the conditioner on the seats in my wife's 02 S6, which have gone unconditioned for a couple years, and 90% of the creases are gone. Apply it on a warm day and leave the car in the sun with the windows up. Buff it out 5-6 hours later. The M5 seats are turning out very well.

Prepping my 91 M5 Dinan for sale to fund 07K and EFR build for my UrQ. May also sell Lotus Elan resto project. PM if interested in either.

Lexol leather cleaner, followed by their leather conditioner. works amazingly well, nice medium gloss finish but without that slimy armor-all feel.
