Ah I see now that they're built per customer. So I'm gonna assume not a 92.8

It should be since anyone who knew about it has been sworn to secrecy about this thing for the past several months!

This is THE crank to have. Jeff's new parts are the epitome of quality. You need that when you're seeking 260 + mph on the flats!

I'm still not 100% sure on 92.8 or stock stroke... or somewhere in-between actually. The rigidity in this crank should help mitigate any problems arising from trying to spin so fast. Ti rods and Jeff's new pistons might help with that too... Either way, the difference between stock and 92.8 isn't much as far as the forces are concerned. I won't be spending much time around 10k+ RPM. Just the occasional blast up there, so the cylinder-filling benefits of the 92.8 may be worth it. Jeff is confident that it wont be a problem.

Update from Sir Gerner:

"MADE time to do initial flow test on your head in its mid stage development,

Wanted to start with shallower than normal valve seat depth to get a reading on ports without seat treatment flow enhancements.

Seats only have a marginal bowl cut and no top angle to the chamber face.

Very good flow just on ports. Got to 192 cfm on the exhaust and 260 on intake.

Now we will finish the valve job which will add a broader radius cut on the exhaust seat interior and a bring the 75 degree in fully on the base of the intake seat while adding 30 degree top angles on the chamber face of both intake and exhaust seats.. "

Today has been a fun day of updates from Jeff. The head is officially ready to go on the flow bench.

"Revver Head with raw valve seat machining and sharp edges and after Chamber Finishing. Four more chambers to go and onto the flow bench. Still needs surface cut but won't do that till all the solid lifter set up is complete."

" 'The Revver' cylinder head is ready for the flow bench. And boy am I glad! This work is friggin tedious but needs to be perfect. I expect flow numbers to exceed the Bonneville motors numbers. Tomorrow we will see! Muahahaha."

I'll post the full numbers later, but peak flow at 0.5" lift is 274 CFM. Exhaust peak is 203 CFM with great laminar flow in the mid lift range.

OK guys, I'm kind of excited, because I think I FOUND MY TURBO!

I've been saying for the past two years or so that if Borg Warner would come out with a 72mm turbo which would out-flow or match their current 76mm (my previous plan), then that'd be the turbo for me. I had my fingers crossed for that happening in the next year or so. Well, they have delivered!

110 lb/min at around 30 psi. Perfect for the revver! I'm only disappointed that it is a 10 blade wheel because I'm scared it won't whistle enough :P

Yes, it's the brand new turbo in the s400sx line. Part number is above, but it's the re-aero'd 72 mm compressor 87/81 turbine.

I guess they will call the new versions with modern aero the sx-e?

Jim, yes definitely a qsv :)

Although it's not necessarily needed as that's not the point of the car, why not gain some more "low end" power if you have the ability?
