I'm glad you were able to get the rear interior pieces to fit, the cluster would be nice to have stock too. You're a stock bland color, and a set of stockish wheels away from being a heart breaking sleeper. How much further back can you go with the engine and trans if you rework the steering rack mounting a bit?

215/35-18 tires worked out fine. good to have friends in tire shops that can give me loaner tires mounted to check clearances before buying them.

still wish i woulda tried a 17" wheel first as i think they would have fit, but these 18's came along, they are not really a widespread wheel especially in our 4x108 pattern, so i had them sent. from the UK.

and i couldnt find fogs/turns so i am making my own.

and these are not done yet of course. blacking out the buckets, mounting the lenses after i tint them from the inside, leaving the space of the fog light clear. have not decided whether or not i am going to glass them in and seal them up. probably not as this will be a fair weather car primarily. :guns:

Dang Aaron, this project is really moving along. Don't have it, make it......I like it. It is right up to my speed, except at our house the girls and wife call it Irozing it. :)

i like the way they completed. not too thrilled with their operation, but thats not a big deal for now. i even remade the lenses to fit tighter.

but the fogs dont shine like i pictured they would. oh well. not like the car is gonna get lots of use anyhow.

raising the front strut towers for more suspension compression.

still waiting on a friend to send me a RHD S2 rack so i can redo the steering because i do not like it the way i made it.

thats just some stuff, finishing the thing some year, too.

already have a full body harness (Painless) i just have to finish structural stuff before i push forward and make it run. but i would say that if i heard it fire up, i would be MUCH MORE WILLING to put time into it hahahaha

Ya, I guess you'll need some extra suspension travel with the monster engine up front - just a little heavier than original. The V8 sound is pretty intoxicating... I think it's to everyone's benefit that you fire it up ;)

yeah, especially non automatic.

i am also displeased with the fog/turns, and will be redoing those as well.

some things look good at first, and then not so good when done.

i looked at the car yesterday. walked around it, by it, pushed it out of my way a little, but thats it.

that car has rolled a few times. when he ran in E-town a few years ago he blew one of the doors off the car at the top of the track.

Vitito is fast Corrado RWD also.

then there is the Lithuanian Corrado AWD.

and this Scirocco is badass too with a Skyline RB26 and Skyline AWD drivetrain running 8.18

i keep up on the fast German based cars. or at least i try to.

2.5L aircooled front mounted motor, big turbo, four link, yada yada yada. 7.81 @ 173.

this is actually what i am basing my goals on, a reachable goal. 7.80's and maybe a little bit faster.
