VEMS oil pressure input?

Post by vwnut8392 »

is there a way to input oil pressure from a sending unit to a VEMS ECU? just curious because i would like to have that in my data logs and displayed on the on screen dash. i have a VDO gauge running off of a factory URS4 sending unit in my car already but its hard to watch it when im hammering the hell out of the car.

128.00 for a sending unit?!?! holy crap! i was hoping to just tie into my current OEM VDO sender and just run that signal into the VEMS if possible.

Stay tuned I'll be doing just that... I'll be logging both oil and fuel pressure in my next iteration of Rubi... I'll post up the details in my thread

VEMs needs 0-5v. The original senders just vary resistance so you would need to build a circuit to convert that to a 5v signal
