Hi all!
I just installed a new Hersch Performance motor mount on the driver's side of my 1990 200 TQA, and it was easy peasy. Now the challenge is to get one installed on the passenger side. Holy tight places Audiman!
So before I tear into it, does anyone have tips for installing a passenger mount without pulling the exhaust manifold or head etc? It is the top bolt that really has me puzzled, as I can barely touch it let alone get a socket on it. Perhaps if I pulled the inner fender well I would have better access?

I just used a long extension with a swivel attachment.

Hmm, I haven't found an access for such things from the top as of yet. Do you remember where from the top you entered?

Snake it down next to the air box and the sniffing emission tube from the exhaust manifold, it fits right with one of the intake manifold runners.. It takes a little doing but it works.

My heat shields are still in pretty good condition. As a result, they were blocking any sort of access to the mount from all sides. Fortunately, I was able to remove the airbox and gain access to the shields. Once they were removed, I was able to get to the mount.
As is usual, my old mount was toast
. New mounts going in are HPR Epics, yay.
