the first 4 gears in a CGR are the same as DSY/EDU. 3.50 - 1.89 - 1.32 - 1.03..... they have .86 and .71 for 5th and 6th.

the EDU/DSY have .81 and .68 for 5th/6th gears, respectively.

i havent got anything spare for 6th gear, but i do have a CRB/CGR (aka RS2) that i am going to be taking apart to rebuild next. it has RS2 1-2-5-6 gears and Dereks old TDI 3-4 gearset, but i am switching that back to regular 3rd and 4th. when Derek and i traded, and rebuilt them, we did not realize we were putting a .87 4th and a .86 5th on the same gearbox HAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Dereks deal was he let me beat up the TDI trans in the race car, and if ever it came out he wanted the 5/6 gears at a minimum. well, i had gotten the RS2 trans from the UK for like $350 TOTAL SHIPPED, and he wanted the best of all worlds so we swapped the gearing on 3/4.

so yeah, if you wanted the RS2 5/6 gears i would trade you as mine is only the backup trans at this point and it doesnt matter whats in it now. i was gonna put the .81 from the B5 S4 trans i just rebuilt into it to make 1.32 - .87 - .81 - .71. but i put it in the dogbox instead, in case of half mile race. (208 mph at 9500 rpm......)

and i do believe i have 2 full sets of the 3/4 gears from DSY/EDU/CRB/CGR and hollow shafts that correspond to them. but the 5/6 are the only differences in the gear stacks.

Wow, I should have checked first, lol. I guess I'll spin the shit out of 2nd in order not to bog 3rd. I have lots of narrow bumpy back roads and always feel too high or too low. But don't we all I guess ;)

Derrick has my old CGR, I hope he can salvage something good out of it.

to get an actual good shift from 1-2 i was taking first gear to 9500+. so as to not drop so far and fall out of boosts. but i have lots of boosts so i do not experience that so much anymore.

I would solve and create problems if I tried to shift at 9500 rpm ;)

I want to get up there and see one of your creations in action, maybe if/when Dan picks up the 4K.
