Cool to see pics of what you are working on. Looks like it's going to be something else! Can you post more pics of the harness bar? This is one of the things I need to do sooner than later. Mainly where it ties into the chassis. Would you mind sharing what it cost to install it?

Thanks Jim....it's been a true test of patience, but am learning a TON doing this myself.
Sure no prob...I'll shoot a few more detailed pix tonight after work. Total cost was $1500 and TC Design was able to complete it inside of a week

That would be awesome, but I'm starting out with the standard CQ kit....maybe I can do some shape-shifting in the future?

1st of many PITAs....
Someone decided to use their new snap on tool to remove spot welds for removing the battery tray.....and it wasn't me or Dave Johnson seen here helping out with the welding

A couple things quickly come to mind reading your spec list:
-- You could save money and not sacrifice quality going with an intercooler from Treadstone vs the Wagner kit.
-- A "reverse" intake manifold by Hank (aka Iroz Motorsport) modified to fit the 7A would not only give you more flow but be much more aesthetically appealing.
-- 2Bennett is horrendously expensive for anything compared to... well, almost anything. For a catch can 42DraftDesigns makes a couple beautiful pieces worth a look.
Otherwise, build looks fantastic! I'll be watching your progress for sure, and eagerly await some track day vids.

Re: 90q IMSA GTO (wanna-be) build
:stupid:
The IM does not need modification to fit a 7a (as you can see in my thread); the PSP is tight as is the 7a coolant neck.

Re: 90q IMSA GTO (wanna-be) build
the 034 catch cans are on ebay for under 50 bucks.
Jim there is a nice shelf where the seat pan and the floorpan interchange for installing a roll hoop on some nice foot pedestals. Harness bar can be bent towards, or away from seats to suit. However if you are going to put in a hoop, you might as well take the time to make it applicable to a spec of some sort. (ie nasa, scca etc)

I wonder how bad it would be to get the rears off and shape them to a 4 door...
If they had only done some bumper extensions on the front too, that would really make it look better.

Wow that's fantastic info! I was not aware of Hank's fabbing prowess...definitely will shoot him an email.
That Treadstone ic looks like it will do the job for sure....I should be able to retain the stock cross member with the addition of mounting points as well
Thank you sir, you're a gentleman and a scholar!

Re: 90q IMSA GTO (wanna-be) build
Definitely read through Mark's build before you dive in with those fenders. They actually need a fair amount of modification to fit wide wheels and tires since they were originally designed to work with stock bumpers.
Here is a link that shows the fenders current status, but look through from the beginning.

Here you go Jim
Have a ton of parts inside, all over the car actually, and can pull everything out this weekend if you'd like some better shots

Short ratio steering rack odyssey....Learning the not easy way
Next time I'll wait to purchase a new high pressure line until after I have the new rack in hand. The difference in the location of this port created quite a bit of education....still don't know from what chassis the short ratio rack came from

Have you talked with the person that has the IMSA GTO 90 rolling chassis that was on ebay recently? IIRC they were in California too.
