You guys all rule, seriously. Thanks so much for all the help and documentation. I cant wait to see you all again next year! (if not sooner!) Awesome shots Aktapod, and thanks for the sawzall help as human powered vise. Great meeting you and Aktapod Sr.!!!
Re: Matt's 2007 RS4
Another update... I bought some KW H.A.S. springs last april (!) But never got around to installing them because I just had too much fun driving... Figured last weekend I'd finally get around to installing the hoard of parts I had built up for an overdue suspension refresh. got the control arms off and noticed a lot of oil on the fender liner... The dreaded DRC failure finally struck! And I missed the clearance blowout sale (no pun intended) of the replacement struts... So, when life gives you lemons, you upgrade! Shopped around, and though for ultimate performance KW got the highest scores, I was talked into going with Bilstein PSS9s. The price was far more reasonable, and having the adjustment accessible without disassembling anything (You gotta drop the strut to adjust the KWs) won me over. Now, it's just time to install and photodocument the adventure! I will say, it was shocking (again, no pun intended) to have an entire PSS9 kit arrive ready to bolt in, for less money than my custom front coilovers cost me to do on the UrS4! Something to be said about newer cars...

Ugh... that sucks!
Look forward to seeing the progress/photodocumentation! I'm hoping my DRCs don't die from sitting idle for the past year while I slowly reassemble my new motor for my RS! I don't think I have it in the budget anymore to replace another part! lol. I'm already over what I was hoping to spend, but I'm replacing damn near everything in the engine bay (hose/seal related) so that I don't have to worry about a hose dying shortly after that was easy to access while everything was apart.
