Just bought the EFR7163 Vband with external wastegate.
I'm going to build another AAN but that' s supposed to be my winter project so i'm going to plumb the 7163 on stock AAN
at the moment. What's the safest boost running on Stock AAN with E85?what's the expected WHP?TIA.
EFR7163+Stock AAN.

What exhaust manifold? That thing will bend stock rods on e85 so you will want to keep the boost down. I don't have specific numbers.

On e85 that turbo is good for 500 awhp.
Tread lightly.

Re: EFR7163+Stock AAN.
FYI my stock head gasket just popped on a 6758 at only 18 psi. I'm sure it was more because of it being a paper gasket with more than 240k miles on it, but you never know... Expected WHP on E85 isn't much more than pump gas for an AAN with stock rods. You can turn it up on the top end, but the torque will be very limited. 350 whp on pump gas is probably the minimum on that turbo with a good tune. On E85, you'll have room for a little more, but only if you limit the boost until higher RPMs.

Popped mine at about the same mileage and boost and same turbo... no signs of Det, think she was just tired.
