Are there people interested in a BBK group buy?

Post by Quattro20v »

Hello, everybody. Well i am in progress of rebuilding my front suspension and since i put almost everything new, even got Bilstein Sports and H&R lowering springs i thought maybe a BBK would be a good idea. So i started looking around. I thought about getting Porsche brakes, but then i would be stuck with used brakes and would have to put something together myself. I looked at StopTech, but their kit was from $1,700 to $2,300. So i came across a company called CEIKA. I did my research and it seems that they are a pretty reputable company, because there are even people with GT3 Porsches that use their brakes. The company is located in Australia, but manufacturing is done in Taiwan. The company is owned by what it seems like older BMW fan and even if they don't make something for a specific car, they can make it for the needed car for the same price, even though they would have to design new brackets. Also, the calipers come with a two year warranty and for the pads, they can give the part number so that it is possible to buy a pad that is of a preferred brand. The brake kits usually reach USA in 2 to 3 weeks, because the manufacturing is started upon order. It is possible to pick the color combo that you want, but unfortunately it is not possible to get a custom logo. The kit that i want is 4 pot caliper with a 304x26mm rotor with a cost of $1250, the biggest one that they say will fit on a 16" wheel without spacers. As you guys know the brakes on a URS6 are not that great and i am willing to give this company a chance. I talked with them and they said if i get a group buy of 10 people, they can take off 8% of off Front brake kits and 10% if front and rear are ordered. If more people join a bigger discount is possible. (But i am not sure if everyone in the group would have to buy Fronts and Rears to get the 10% discount, or just specific people). Also, here's their website for more info: http://ceikaperformance.com/ Link for Kit options: http://ceikaperformance.com/Custom_Built_Brake_Kit/Custom_built_Big_Brake_Kits/ceika-custom-big-brake-kit-fully-bolt-on-for-your-car-model-street-to-pro-race-p2663_p2663.html Let me know what you guys think.

You can get 4 piston Porsche brakes for about 460$ all in (Loaded Used calipers, Rotors, 60$ bracket adapter.) a lot of info here on bigger better setups too.
