3b fuel line sanity check please

This feed line has ferrules that seem like they were not crimped. They look newer than normal too. This one spins freely. Kind of unnerving. Is this normal? Anyone else's 3b lines like this?

No problem - Just checked on mine and both spin freely. Seems to be more of a fancy detail piece than anything - I think 16v vw ones do the same too.

Mine are like this on the V8 and the 200. I believe they're just there to keep the ends of the braided lines from being exposed and fraying.

Thanks guys. This car is cursed so it would be fitting that is was loose. Just don't need it to burn down on my watch!
