All I can ever seem to manage is one flame :(
I gave the victims plenty of opportunities to give more space at previous lights:

I believe the log shows 220 down to 200-210 during the backfire. I remembered you can't view logs at work lol

That's weird because it should be more during the backfire.

So anyone who may have seen this video:
https://youtu.be/kU_UP6Nonz0
I reviewed the settings from my backed up backup cfg files as that sort of looks like the effect I am looking for. The settings I used were close but a little different. Maybe it didn't throw flames because of how restrictive that exhaust in the video is! I'm going to go back to these settings and have another try :)

Thanks guys it was definitely awesome! I just made an interesting discovery about LC today too. I know, late to the knowing party hah. As I do LC so sparingly, especially since the rebuild, I only just found out today that LC didn't work as I expected unless I had just done a full boost pull (so far, first and 2nd gear were sufficient like in the video) right before doing it. Last week I free revved at a lifted truck that was up my ass with his seemingly only 55w HID on bright in my eyes. After the free rev above my LC rev limiter I hit LC and revved lightly real quick again and backfired real hard on his bumper lol.

So apparently the turbo has to be spinning fast enough to create ~2 bar at least in my case. Is this anyone else's experience? I guess I thought LC was used to spin the turbo up instead, simultaneously.

Kevin I've been watching your thread. I hope you figure out everything with the coolant leak, affordably!

I'm not exactly sure what you're saying but if you hold the throttle down and hit lc above your rev limit it all dump a lot of fuel and then ignite it when the rpms hit the lc threshold. And then boom

I mean if the turbo is not well spooled in advance, the car makes no boost during LC for a good 3 maybe 4 seconds. My old settings I used at the strip made it spool up during LC but it didn't make all the backfiring. I wander if there's a way to have all these things at once lol

I've noticed something similar, but I think it has more to do with the extra heat in the exhaust manifold and turbo from being on boost.

Ahhh interesting. That's a very good point. I can see that especially being a factor for me with w/m injection. Maybe the lack of boost leaves the charge air and manifold too cool to create the effect. The system starts injection at 1 bar atmospheric so maybe that's the hold up I'm seeing at that pressure. It will hover there with no backfiring for about 3 seconds before the pressure rises to around 120 kpa at 3 to 4 seconds according to the log. Good to see I'm not alone on this. Thanks Jake

Went for a romp on the sparsely snow covered parking lots near where I was returning an item today. My original alternator had a loud bearing I was waiting to explode/seize and not long after doing redlined donuts, the belt flew away in the wind on a hard pull on the street. Was damn fun at least lol. Made it home even though it was 6 miles of horrible roads. Blizzard outside kept me company while I changed back to the new alternator. Feels good to be sitting on ass again finally.

Also ordered 80A HPR trans and motor mounts!
