I installed the new brake MC, and did in fact perform bench bleeding before the install.
I don't know if it was entirely necessary but I did do it.
I am now able to drive the car, get it up to full temp after some spirited driving and the front brakes no longer lockup, which is great.
I also had to re-tighten the distributor "locking plate nut (13mm)" as it had become loose. Thank goodness I caught it.

Re: 91 200 20vt
Just an FYI for all new type 44 owners....
Buy yourself a set a metric crowfoot wrenches. It will be worth it, it'll save time and your knuckles.
A perfect example is tightening the distributor locking plate nut.

That's a good one! I'll need to look into getting a set. Traditionally, I've gotten that nut by splaying myself on the engine and using a wrench from behind, which sounds a lot more annoying than your way.
Glad you got your brake issues sorted!

Re: 91 200 20vt
Thank you. I am glad I was finally able to get to it, meaning the brake issues.
I have contacted Marc to get his stage 1+ tuning done finally as well.
That being said, would you all recommend the 1.9 bar upgraded waste gate spring as well in addition to a new diaphragm seal?
And yea, back to the need for the crows foot set of wrenches. The locking nut for the distributor is a good example, but there is also the rear knock sensor, and some other really stupidly placed items I cant think of right now.

Here's another sticking brake MC.
Deffo easier to bleed on the bench than in the car.
I had mine off last summer due to sticking and now it is doing it again. Need a replace as well.
Would you have a part number of the unit you got?
I considered making a heatshield for the MC as the radiator fan blows straight at it.

Re: 91 200 20vt
So went out to get dinner last night, and tried to start the car in the garage to let her warm up.
Crank Crank Crank, barely starts and runs for 5 secs before the smell of gasoline fills my nostrils.
I pop the hood and discovered this. Looks to me like a jimmy rig?
Does anyone have a part number for this line? I am going to buy a new FPR just for good measure.
