So the fuel pump in my CQ seems to be doing a death squeal, TBH I never listened for the fuel pump except when troubleshooting starting problems.
So far the problem has not progressed beyond making noise.
Before spending $300 on the drop in solution I’ve got to wonder if I can gather needed parts for lass than that.
I have no plans or need for anything the exceeds the fueling needs of a stock NA 7A.
Pointers etc appreciated.
Thanks, jack

Re: Coupe Quattro fuel pump replacement
It'd be wayyyy overkill, but a Walbro 400 should drop straight into the basket with really minor modifications and is only $100 for a pump w/install kit. A 255 might too but I've never had one in my hands to measure the diameter of the pump itself.
