Are there even 20 t44 guys left?

. If these would work on a urs4 then your potential market could expand ten fold.

They do/should work for UrS. I've mentioned it several times and its in the title of the thread

Maybe reach out to the FB UrS4 group?

Yes, I agree. I will definitely do that once I'm able to test a set.

Wow, would love a set, but 450-500 is a little too spicy for me.
Besides, the UrS6 is probably in need of a rebuilt or new steering rack and I am spending on my B4. Just got some custom coilovers for it.
I am considering the AK motorsports top mounts for the B4, but I worry that AL mounts will be quite harsh on the roads here.

Just bought a set of Thuppu mounts a week or so ago and waiting on those to come in.
Depending on how good his are, I'll probably keep those until I decide to pull the trigger on welding in the GC Caster/Camber plates I've got.
So, I know I said I would a while back, but I probably won't be getting these when they come around.

Looks sweet Chris! I'm still down for a set of these if we can get a group buy going. Like I said to you earlier, I'm happy to trial-run these and give you my impressions and feedback. Once the V8 is 5-speed swapped, my sights are on coilovers for the 200!

Thanks Kevin. I just want to make sure the tolerances are right on them, but then it'll be testing time. I'm just a little concerned about having some kind of rattle with the way the snap rings are set up.

The latest update has the parts almost finished. Just a few little details to fix now.

That depends on the interest I'm able to stir up. I will give the rundown after testing is complete and Urs fitment verified. Also, I have to be sure the manufacturer is willing to make more.

How many have they been willing to make thus far?

Two have been made so far (one set). I'm just waiting on them to get zinc chromate coated, then they can be installed and tested.

Is there any update on these? I am interested in 2 sets of these they look awesome and ay better than anything else I've seen for these cars. I would be putting them on both my V8 Quattro 5-speed and 91 200 20vt Avant if that helps confirm I'm one of those T44/D11 nuts.

Yes, the first set is actually done with machining, but they need to be electro-plated and then one small piece needs machined. They need to be tested though, and the cost is pretty high, even if we get 10 sets made.
If you know someone who can zinc plate the first set for testing, it'd really get things moving along! That's really the only hold-up right now. But you wouldn't believe how hard it is to find a plater. The next sets will be made with somethign that doesn't need plating!

There's a TRW factory about an hour from me that plates seat belt latches... I wonder if they could just sneak these on the line.

Haha worth a try? I have a place that will do it, but I have to send them cash... odd.

I am definitely interested in a set of these, now that I've got another urS! I just re-read the thread, but I couldn't find a figure on how much more travel they will allow. Has that been determined yet?

I do not know if this thread is long dead but I am finally getting back to building my 200 Avant. I have bilsteins on some springs but I would like to build out a proper set. Put me on the buy list Loxx if this is still a thing.

Loxx is pretty busy these days. I've taken over the project temporarily and will be field testing the prototypes very soon on the T44 and D11 platforms. I'll be test fitting with Koni Sport (86 2149), Koni Race (8610-1437), and Bilstein Sport (34-003695) struts. The strut mounts are currently out being zinc plated, and I'm awaiting a few small sleeves to be machined by my friend.
Sorry for the wait, but they haven't been forgotten! Will update soon, hopefully

They're going on the 200. I've had a billion coilover bits sitting around for months, but got super busy and haven't been able to get around to it. My schedule just cleared up substantially, though, so expect progress soon!

You shortening the housing or adding a spacer? Hoping to do the race struts in the front before racing season starts up again this year. (I totally am gonna push it off till the last minute and not do it till next winter)
