Yes you can use the b3 slave. I'm currently using the metal b4 one in my fyf 01e. I just unbolted it and let it hang until I reinstalled the transmission, no bleeding that way.
It has a different fitting for the hydraulic line. At least what I received does.quattrobros wrote:can you not use a b5 slave?

Is it just because of the hard line fitting? Everything B5 (01A and 01E) is the same slave, but I guess the B3/B4 chassis might use a different kind of fitting.
