Come on... :-) We will see. It has been built right in my opinion. Jeff said break it in and give it hell. Hank is thinking we should see 650 by next weekend.

The explosion was one of amazement. :hail:

I am looking forward to what you can do with yours. Incredible work.

I'll take video on the dyno. Explosion or no explosion. Who knows, it might set a record on Hanks dyno.

I am thinking I am not too far off on my hopefull guestimations. I believe I have the supporting pieces to get me there. I am thinking that the turbo and oil pump will be the only thing that will limit me. Although I have been seeing dyno numbers coming back with much as 800hp to the wheels with smaller displacement motors like Hondas and Subaru's using the EFR 8374. My stock oil pump (which was modified by Jeff) will limit short pulls to 8-8500.

List of things that I think bring it to that level... let me know of anything else suggested... I know I want to get a better damper and dry sump
Oversized valves
Ported Head by Jeff
Cams
stroker crank
ported Wagner intake
Hanks manifold and downpipe
Exhaust Cut Out
bored throttle body
high volume/flow fuel rail
2200cc injectors
034 Ultra high output coils
dual bosch 044 fuel pumps/surge tank
light weight flywheel
Hanks tuning

My plan is to be able to supply plenty of fuel/ fuel pressure/boost/spark/efficient air flow

forgot to add E85 to the supporting items. It's nice to have it at the corner gas station and a hell of a lot cheaper than 93 octane too! Even with the higher summer anti smog blend prices, it is still @ $2.74 a gallon. I'm sure I will burn more of it, but at least it supports higher horsepower and is cheaper in cost.

I think you're on the right track. Turbo and rev limit wont help with power, but I'm not sure I believe that turbo will need more than 8500 to make its full power potential. I could be wrong, but I'm not so sure that intake manifold and bored throttle body wont choke that thing out a bit.

Either way, I'm seriously looking forward to seeing your numbers! I feel that they'll set the bar for me and Nick :)

If the throttle body and intake can't supply enough, I'll save up to do a Bigger throttle body from something else, a bigger intake from Hank, and a EFR 9180 good for 1000 hp. I think my 8374 will be close to maxed out. That will be later down the road. Right now I will be happy once we have squeezed what we can out of it with the current set up and just enjoy it for now.

I'll wait till Jeff is done experimenting on your head and then take advantage of the R&D that you pay him for. :D

Your goals are very similar to mine with similar limitations too. Rev and intake will certainly be mine, though I don't think I'll have to worry about the turbo in my case but we'll see.

Super excited to see this come together. Hopefully your clutch will hold (not sure what you're running)!

I don't even know anymore. I know I have an aluminum 034 flywheel. I started out with a Spec stage 5+ clutch, but the consensus was that the heavy sintered iron disc would be hard on the synchros and have a harsh engagement. So now I believe what I have is still the aluminum flywheel, the Spec stage 5+ pressure plate, and a clutchnet 6 puck disc. If the aluminum flywheel gives a resonating ring or rattle, I will probably change it out for a lightweight steel flywheel . I would love to spring for a set up like you have, but I'm not dishing out the dough yet til I get to drive this thing first. It will be high on the to do list if I'm not happy with what I have now.

The flywheel costs a ton if you want the steel one like I wanted and you're locked in by 034 as nothing else exists except their aluminum one. I wanted the extra weight of the steel myself. My brother will be running their aluminum one which is almost half he price.

Also, ordering the clutch through summit racing saves about $200 over 034's price.

Just FYI if/when the time comes.
