Well... I just registered for Battleborn and Dyno time for the 200 with Marc and Hank on Friday morning. Now I just need to figure out what car to rent to get around during the event. Three more weeks!

I'm sure you can ride with someone. Or rent a mustang, lol

Are you driving up there or flying? I need to get a transmission to Kitterman.

Well if your car is on the dyno on Friday morning you should be able to drive it around after, barring any catastrophic failures.

Good point. I think I'll put insurance on the car and get new license plates for it tomorrow. 3 weeks should be enough time for that. Then I can cruise with the rest of the bunch instead of a rental.

I shouldn't have to worry about positive crank case or valve cover pressure and oil should stay cleaner for longer periods of time. There's plenty of flow, baffling, media, and filtering for separation in my catch can. I could probably have a half worn out motor with tons of blow by and still be ok as long as you don't forget to keep adding oil.

Got a nifty little dual relay board that has l.e.d. Failure indicator lights to run the dual 044's. Will make for a clean install. The fuel pumps should run pretty cool being mounted down low up in front of the car and help with keeping higher pressure being up front and close to the fuel rail.

Nothing interesting, but a little update or documenting my build in case I decide to sell my baby one day. I ordered a Integrated Engineering Manual Boost Controller to operate the quick spool valve. Also got a non-flow-restrictive in-line oil filter for the turbo. It's a little piece of insurance just in case there is some trash somewhere in the system from the new engine build.

Good call on the filter. But you should REALLY be operating the qsv by an n75 using one of VEMS outputs. We had a manual boost controller type setup in dad's car initially. What a pain in the ass. In VEMS you just setup the output (20 seconds), plum the boost line, and go do some logs. You have much much much better control not only of when you want the qsv to open but also how long it takes to open and if you want it to ramp up etc..

Just my .02

MBC's are literally the suck when you have the control of VEMS and a proper EBC. Some of the local subaru guys claim MBC's to be leagues better than any EBC and every time I hear it, I laugh, and laugh, and laugh...

and laugh...

I was scrambling to get the car going by this weekend, but Marc is able to ship two N75 controllers and connectors in time. One for the quick spool valve and one for the exhaust dump valve. Thanks for the push. Should get tuned now with both of them working.

I'll be sure to take some. The plan is to do some low boost break-in dyno and drive time over the weekend cruising around at about 500 hp. Then at the end of the weekend, turn it up a bit. Will have to check and re-torque the head, change the oil, re-tune, and give it hell.

Got some trigger errors that have been since taken care of on the 60-2, but we are well on our way to having it on the dyno this weekend. Just in time for the new strain gauge on the dyno to arrive! Sounds meaty
