Calibrating map sensor at elevation.

Post by pilihp2 »

So i'm having some weird map sensor issues and I'd like to recalibrate it to remove that variable, but I'm at almost 5000 feet elevation here. Do I go off the normal calibration of trying to get the map to read 101 at engine off or should I adjust depending on my elevation because pressure is lower up here?

Something I've always wondered but never bothered to figure out....

Umm, wouldn't suggest that.

Fix the issue.

Can you make load equal to MAP/baro?

Mine always read <100 @5280'. I'd leave it.
