obviously i forgot to mention the launch control patcher XDF is for the motor chip side only. there is nothing to patch on the boost chip nor will that XDF correct the boost chips checksum. maybe i should just incorporate the launch control patcher into the regular XDF?

From what I've read and heard, knock in VEMS isn't very dependable, at least with the 5 cyl. There's a poster on the vemssupport forum who has gotten it to work out, at least in logs. Maybe Marc will have something to say about this.
