Are you running a flange adaptor on the turbine inlet or do you have some crazy machined housing?

Re: Julian's '91 200 20vt
Popping on the overrun is when you have fuel cut turned off. Normally injectors are cut below a certain vacuum value, not sure what exact setting you are after in vems butbit should be something related to fuel cut decel.

I ran mine with the factory tensioner and kept the fan pulley as an idler. Will post up a pic.

Re: Julian's '91 200 20vt
I think there's your problem. That's not a great deal of torque, and whatever resistance there was, subtracting that likely rendered the clamp-up preload incapable of holding the wheel on the shaft when it was loaded up.
Lessons learned.

Re: Julian's '91 200 20vt
One last post for the Sabbath. Assuming everything else was correct during assembly, is there any other explanation for this occurrence? Is my stock 710 DV not flowing enough during pedal lift to keep stress down on the turbo shaft? Should I run a 2nd one post-intercooler too maybe? I wander if LC ...

Re: Julian's '91 200 20vt
Over torqued the nut perhaps? Stretched the shaft beyond yield point and therefore not enough elasticity to clamp it all together? Just my 2p as a former turbine engine tech.
Onwards and upwards. I think this car is essentially telling you it wants more turbo. Every time it died, you went bigger ...

Re: Group Buy: T44 28mm Sway Bar Clamps
Sorry I just assumed they were the same with most other bits being swappable. It's the same design but I see now that the t44 mount is further forward. Although if the bracket is the same dimensions for mounting, ie hole spacing, it could work right?

Re: Group Buy: T44 28mm Sway Bar Clamps
Are you guys over the pond aware of these items produces by Albert of motorsport?
It's a similar billet arb/sway bar bracket but it moves the pivot slightly forward on the subframe giving ~1deg of extra castor on the front end improving steering feel.
Aimed at urs4/6 but I believe it's the same ...

FS: B4 Elipsoid headlights.
Chaps, I have a good set of Elipsoid headlights for sale. All mounting tabs are intact, however both under trim piece brackets have been repaired with aircraft epoxy. Tiny chip in one lens, but hardly noticeable and no effect on beam.
I'm located in the UK but happy to ship over.

Re: Ben's V8 Coupe Quattro - First Start preparations!
It's loosing trigger with just the plugs in their holes though, coils not connected, so where's the noise coming from?
Good one this, very frustrating for you though! Intriguing to say the least.

Re: Ben's V8 Coupe Quattro - First Start preparations!
In fact, just looked over my wiring, I ran my ecu ground straight to my battery terminal as per the instructions with my ecu, which was a IIc, but you can't get a better ground than the battery.... Sensor ground can be away from the battery and on the head. Different instructions vems vs IIc I know ...
