welding is possible, but cast-iron does have a tendency to crack again when welded if not welded properly.

Regarding the size, I had an issue with this as well, a1 is where I got my sleeves, one set wouldn't fit, so I called them and they sent me another pair and it was perfect, a very slight friction fit, it should be 2.170" which is 55.11mm

No cover is necessary. Little different but I road race a mk1 rabbit and have ever had any cover on the belt anywhere. In 7 years never had a single issue.

Codes it has are, p1504 for air leak, p1506 coolant temp short to ground, p0120 for tips a circuit. In the driveway it starts and idles fine, if you press the gas pedal to the floor it will race to about 2600rpm the cut out and do that again. It's bouncing. Any info?

Hey so pulling codes shortly but figured I ask if anyone has seen this. While driving engine looses all power like I let off the throttle. Then will come back, then when o got closer to home it would rev up and then misfire slightly.. when trying to drive now will rev only to 2000 rpm then cut out ...

Possibly, but I have some koni adjustable strut cartridges that are 1 inch shorter body then stock as per measurements from monroe. But I know they are slightly smaller diameter then stock so I want to make sleaves in the strut tube for centering purposes. So need the ID of the strut tubes.

97 a6 rear control arm bushings?
So I need to replace the rear control arm bushings on my 97 a6 Quattro. Had a 200 at one point and did poly bushings for the front 2 bushings in the rear control arm. Any info anyone has on what fits, would be great. Thanks.

will do, I did find broken wires in the o2 sensor wireing on the sensor side. fixed those, and ordered a new one... we shall see waiting for snow and wetness to check.

88 b3 90 with ng sluggish running until full throttle?
As the title states I have an issue with my 88 Audi 90 with the ng 20v. When cold or when moist out it has a hesitation at part throttle but clears up completely once at full throttle.. Did the obvious, replaced plugs wires cap and rotor, also coolant temp sensor. Did not replace coil yet but might ...
