Take it slow and do it right!

Just like the bondo was the wrong thing to do and your fixing it the adapters will just be more wasted money. There are options as far as 5 lug swaps go. Bite the bullet and do it when you can afford it. I go through this with my friends all the time because they want to jump the gun and buy the "cheap" stuff so they can get what they want right away and within a week you hear "I should have done it the right way...."

Building a car takes YEARS no matter who you are. There are people here that might get them together in a couple months or a year but they have been saving money and gathering parts for years. Dont get impatient.

And yes the weather over here sucks right now. Always interesting when you see massive oak tree trunks swaying back and forth(taking about 2+ feet in diameter).

I am having the same issue here is PA. I have 5 large tree outside of my apartments balcony, watching them sway is a little nerve racking. I hope you and yours are safe through this.

yeah no problems here, we are at high ground.

I live on a peninsula a 1/4 mile from the ocean but we have 20ft high cliffs and then our house is another 20ft above that.

No, I was saying that the offset on the Ur hubs needed massaging. You can run G60s with 5-lug, IIRC, you'll just have to redrill the brake rotors.

I think fifteen52 makes 4x108-->5x112 adapters. Should be able to find something thru them or adaptec speedware.

Okay, going to primer the car today, but gonna hold on paint.

Paint is more spensive than i had the dough for...

anyways, the plug thats in the hatch will get refilled with fiberglass when i repaint.

the primer will do fine for the Car show.

im also going to swap out the passenger side door panel as its all NASTY.

Plastidipped the wheels

It was funny when he did the wheels. He was like "they look so much better!" And I was like yea, only cuz you cant see all the scratches and imperfections now lol.

I dont get this. I thought you just ran UR-S4 Rotors when you did that swap. Offset is about the same as the CQ Rotors.

Not sure what brakes you're thinking of... maybe they work well for G60 rotors (stock on Cq & UrS4) but I went with D2S8 rotors & 986BoxsterS calipers. When I did my swap a 3mm hub:rotor spacer was required, and the inner face of the rotor had to be spun down a bit to clear the tie rod end. Details are in my build thread (link in sig).

more work was finished to the CQ! the trim that is always falling off on the bottoms of the doors and behind the doors is replaced with bondo.

Down to hand sanding and it looks MUCH better.

still need to work on the doors some, but it looks much better than it did with the missing trim.

That one nice part with the sedan. Much easier to delete lower trim.
